Jordan Boostmaster's GoPro Settings
Many people ask what settings I use for my GoPro cameras, I made a very in depth Go Pro tutorial about every single video feature and what it does.
I upload all my videos on youtube in 4K even if they weren't filmed in 4K. I just scale up the video files to fit 3840x2160. That is because the 4K option on youtube allows for a higher bit rate to watch it in and I can see a difference in playback quality.
My GoPro Hero 12/11/10 Settings are:
5.3K 30/60fps Superview
Hypersmooth ‘on’ with the chin cam setup (I never use ‘boost’ mode)
Low Light Off
5000k White Balance
Flat Color Profile
Auto Shutter
ISO Limit 1600
Low Sharpness
-1 EV Comp, sometimes -1.5 or even -2 if I am in a dark enough forest
My GoPro Hero 9 Settings are:
4K 30fps Superview
Hypersmooth ‘on’ with the chin cam setup (I never use ‘boost’ mode)
Low Light Off
Spot Meter Off, but sometimes On to avoid the camera exposing for the sky if there’s enough in frame.
5000k White Balance
Flat Color Profile
Auto Shutter
ISO Limit 1600
Low Sharpness

My GoPro Hero 8, 7 and 6 Settings are:
